the Sounds of a Sleeping Giant

Yellowstone is one of only 50 total known volcanic hot spots in the world and one of only six that occur on land.  When you walk among the geothermal features in the park they splutter, pop, sizzle, spit, and sometimes erupt in a non-stop  cacophony of angry, restless,  sound.  From the raging waterspout of Old Faithful, to the quietest plop, plop of a paint pot, the experience is unique and unforgettable.  We hope you enjoy these sounds.
